Labor in America Podcast Project
Labor is not only the foundation of a strong society, but the driver of daily existence. “According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the average American works 44 hours per week, or 8.8 hours per day.” We spend a large majority of our lives working, which shapes our meaning, identity and politics?
Using historical thinking skills we will create a theoretical framework on labor issues to help us answer our projects essential question: how can our knowledge of historical labor movements inform us on how to solve current and future labor issues? |
